She called the duty doctor in who prescribed me antibiotics. The wounds were a mess but Hannah was so very good & professuonal that the appointment was running late. Even the duty doctor offered to help her out which was amazing. What team work. I had told reception that there were 7wounds to be dressed when I rang them from the hospital but they gave a 20 minute appointment. I cant praise the girls & doctor who were on that day.

Also the waiting area is sensory overload - very bright lights, loud music and a bright screen with quickly changing images - I had to put my earphones in and shield my eyes. For people with sensory sensitivity, e.g. those with autism, this could be very stressful.

I tried to book a PSA test on line but was given the offer for a health check up that I booked. When I arrived I was informed that I was not eligible for a free health check up because I am only entitled to one every 5 years. The Nurse was a lovely person and clearly apologetic about the situation. What was frustrating was not the fact that I did not have a heath check up, but the fact that you let me come into the surgery and then told me, a simple text or call would have helped! Also why did the system let me book the checkup? How am I meant to know it’s only once in every 5 years? I really think you need to look at this as I was told I was the 3rd person this week to do this. So this is a cost to you and to me. The second visit was to have the PSA test and this process was fine, and again a lovely nurse.

I booked in, was called into the treatment room exactly on time, was greeted by the nurse and her assistant, the vaccination process was explained, my details were checked and I received my injection which was painless. The nurse then explained what effects I might experience and told me that I would hear from the Surgery for the second part of the jab in 6 months time. All very efficient.

Great facilities, but the sign in told me to wait upstairs for my flu jab. I went upstairs- and waited on my own for 15 mins (admittedly I had arrived early). Eventually someone came to find me and thankfully I was then seen quickly. So … the sign in needs to be telling us the correct information. I’m amazed that no one else was coming up - as instructed - but perhaps my appointment was a one-off. This comes on the back of a recent nurse appointment I had where I was kept waiting 50 mins - the nurse explained to me the issue with traffic, but it would have been helpful if the receptionist had kept me updated.

I was in a panic and just wanted to see a nurse to look at it. Receptionist refused to help. Suggested Bognor Hospital. My partner was not feeling the best due to shock. POOR Please can you tell us why you gave your answer? The parking situation was chaos, we had to park a distance away to leave room for blue badge holders but the car park was empty, we counted at least 40 empty parking spaces!! There were lots of people walking ( including old people) a distance as the old surgery car park holds maybe 20 ish spaces which was not enough and of course people can’t park on the main road. Considering the people invited were higher risk but might not necessarily have a blue badge I think the whole running of this was ridiculous and not very well thought out for these older people! Once inside though I will say it was speedy, friendly and efficient.

I have a walking problem but due to no blue badge I ended up parking in the old carpark. This was a shambolic set up , probably shared by every stuck in that totally inadequate carpark.

NEITHER GOOD NOR POOR Please can you tell us why you gave your answer? As a disabled driver, I parked in front of the practice. On entry I was helped very well and had my vaccination easily. On leaving I was ushered out the rear door and had to walk round the building to my car. This was quite difficult and would have been impossible without my partner. Also, why you do not carry out COVID vaccination at the same time, to avoid having to make a separate journey to a pharmacy is beyond me.

I arrived eary, the Receptionist directed me to use the screens to check in, I did so and went upstairs to wait. 5 mins later a nurse walked past me and acknowledged my presence. 10 minutes after my appointment was due, I went down to ask the receptionist what was going on. She very quickly looked and said they had been having issues with the screens and it hadn't checked me in. If you knew the screens had been playing up previously, why oh why didn't the receptionist check I had been checked in at 7:35am, and why didn't the nurse poke her head out to see if I was there. Thoroughly disappointed. No complaint forms available at reception. The nurse was good though.

I had an appointment booked for Meadowcroft, but I did not had a message that explicitly said it's not at Meadowcroft anymore, but to come to the new surgery. I made my way to the new surgery anyway, albeit a bit late. When I arrived I was surprised to see the disabled bays didn't have hardstanding all around them, which meant that when I needed to reverse out of my car, in my wheelchair, I had to back onto the gravel. There are boulders in front of the spaces and so I couldn't park around the opposite direction. I wouldn't have been able to get out of my car. On entering the building, which was very easy because of the surface and no threshold, I was met with a big queue at the front desk. This turned out to be because the check in screens weren't working, and there was only one person on the desk. Once I had got to the front of the queue I was asked to go up to floor one via the lift. This seemed okay, but when the lift door opened it revealed a very small lift which meant I didn't have space for my turning circle, and had to exit the lift by reversing, which is difficult because I can't see you behind me. Thankfully I had my PA with me otherwise this would've been a real issue, impacting my independence. The nurse that I saw was very good, so no problem there. I understand that the receptionist was very busy, but she was quite rude. The person in the queue in front of me left because of her unhelpfulness, and she said to me that I had had a reminder text. Does this mean that it was my fault that I hadn't gone to the correct surgery!? The large poster, by reception; that is covered by Perspex, had a QR code to scan to give feedback, but you couldn't scan the QR code and there wasn't a web address on the poster to enable me to do this. All in all, the nurse was brilliant, but my first visit was not as expected. For a new building they were big things that seem to have been overlooked. Quite disappointing.

We did not know it was for vaccinations or how to prepare. I had to Google information to find out about bringing calpol etc. There was no information about possible side effects or what to do if baby became poorly afterwards. We phoned reception to ask if the appointment was for 8 week vaccinations and were told they couldn’t tell us what the appointment entailed because they are ‘not medical experts’. This would be a poor rating but the nursing team were good and handled the injections themselves well which redeemed things somewhat.

The Croft surgery for me has a good ‘atmosphere’ The computer systems work well and are informative.( even giving my waiting time). The staff I saw, apart from their professional competence, were both respective and friendly. AND ‘ancient’ as I am, I was not treated as such. I I like that.
