Due to unexpected staff illness, today (27 June 2025), our practice is only able to triage urgent cases.

  • Bognor Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) – War Memorial Hospital
  • Open today: 8 am to 8 pm
  • Services available: Treatment of minor to moderate injuries and illnesses (e.g., cuts, sprains, minor burns, insect bites, minor infections)
 

Pharmacy First Scheme – available at your local pharmacy

No appointment needed. Pharmacists can assess you and supply free NHS treatment (including antibiotics/antivirals where clinically suitable) for the following conditions and age groups

Pharmacists may also advise and treat other minor ailments such as acne, coughs, cold sores, eczema, constipation, indigestion, mouth ulcers, headaches, thrush, verrucas, and more.

  • Sinusitis: 12+ years
  • Sore throat: 5+ years
  • Earache: 1–17 years
  • Infected insect bite: 1+ years
  • Impetigo: 1+ years
  • Shingles: 18+ years
  • Uncomplicated UTI: Women 16–64 years

What should you do next?

  1. If your issue is urgent (e.g., chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, head injury), please contact us or call 111 immediately.
  2. For non-urgent but concerning issues today:
    • Walk into the Bognor MIU (8 am to 8 pm)
    • See your pharmacist via Pharmacy First
