The Practice Manager
Mrs Judith Walker (MAMGP) is the practice manager and she may be able to help you with any administrative or non-medical aspects of the practice. She is available to discuss compliments, suggestions or complaints.
The Reception Team
Our receptionists are here to help you. They have a difficult job dealing with calls and enquiries. When you telephone for medical attention the receptionists may ask for a few details, and will treat what you tell them in the strictest confidence. They have been trained to make these enquiries so that we can help you in the most appropriate way.
Practice Nurses
Mrs Moira Boiardini - RGN
Mrs Terry Dalton - RGN
Mrs Larrie Dean - SRN BSc (Hons) SCM DipN IMSM Cert
The nurses are available Monday to Friday for procedures such as dressings, immunisations and travel advice, ear syringing, blood pressure checks etc. Appointments are also provided for disease management, such as asthma, diabetes and heart disease.
Phlebotomists / Healthcare Assistants
Mrs Sue Atkins
Mrs Alison Kyles
The phlebotomists, who are members of the National Association of Phlebotomists, are available to perform blood tests in the mornings.
Community Nurses
There is a team of district nurses attached to the practice, who are responsible for nursing care in the community. They look after patients with long and short term problems and following discharge from hospital.
Health Visitors
The health visitors are involved primarily with children from 0 – 5 years. There are five health clinics run in the locality; please ask a health visitor for details. They can be contacted on
01243 553866
. If they are not available you may leave a message on an answerphone and your call will be returned at the first opportunity.
